About Evangelism (Mark 16:15-16):
During these months, I have been visiting and studying the Gospel with every contact. I have been studying with Alonzo and his wife Ana in their house. They are progressing in the study of the Bible. Also they have been visiting us in our assemblies. I pray and hope these people obey the Gospel with all their heart. But I know I will need a time.

About Edification (Matthew 28:20):
About this work, nothing have changed, I have decided to work hard with the brethren teaching them the Sound Doctrine. “Maintaining save to them saved”. I want to have many classes with the brethren and they are very encourage in receive these classes. So this is my work every week: In order to obey this command, I have been studying the Bible with several brothers in their houses teaching the Sound Doctrine. Also I have been studying the Bible with the new Christians. Every Wednesday I have been teaching in the assembly about Acts 1 and 2, also I preach every Sunday in the assembly teaching several topics of the Bible. In this moment I have been teaching about the books of Colossians every Sunday morning.
Also I want to let you know about sister Dora Canino. This sister was member of a church does not keep the sound doctrine. Now I have been visiting and studying the Bible in her house and she has been visiting us in our assemblies. I hope and pray that she will be faithful between us.

The Lord’s work in San Juan de los Morros:
I want to let you know that I have been working in this city every week. I go to this city and I preach the Gospel house by house every Thursday. Then I go to the building and I teach a Bible class to the visitors and some brothers. I have some contacts studying the Bible with me. One of them is Vacilia. She has been studying the Bible with me since 2 month ago. Her son Julio goes with her to the assembly on Sunday. Thank to the Lord, the work has been progressing very good. Even though the people are few receptive to the Gospel, this woman and his son have been listening the Gospel and visiting in our assemblies. Brother Leonardo Fernandez works with me as a preacher in this new work in San Juan. When I need to go to other places to work he works in Maracay and San Juan during my absence.

Gospel trip in Venezuela:
I want to share with all you about a gospel trip around my country with Brother Rolando Amador from USA. Our plan was to encourage to the brethren to be faithful to the Lord and teach them the sound doctrine and only Bible. We began our trip in my city. He was preaching us on Wednesday. Then we went to visit the local church in Cagua. We were there on Thursday.

When we finished the Bible class with the church in Cagua, we went to San Juan where I am preaching the Gospel every week. We had a very good attendance during the Bible class in San Juan. Our friend Vacilia was present with all her family. Let me share the photos with you.
New work in San Juan



For Friday morning we went to Guanare to visit and have a Bible class with the brethren. As you know, I have been preaching in this local church in its assembly when I visit this zone of my country. When I go to this zone of my country, I visit 3 local churches and I teach the Bible in their assemblies, they are: Acarigua church of Christ, Guanare church of Christ and Barinas (Centro) church of Christ.

The next day, Saturday morning, we went to Barinas because we would have a Bible class with the brethren there. Until I know, there are two faithful churches in that city. We were in Raul Leoni church Saturday night and Sunday morning.

After the assembly morning in Raul Leoni church, we went to lunch and then we went to be with the Centro church of Christ in Barinas.

Thank to the Lord, we had a very good time with the brethren in Barinas. We were teaching the sound doctrine of our Lord Jesus and encourage them to be faithful. After this entire trip I returned home fine and safe.

In this moment I am working hard with several lessons because I will do a trip to Mexico in October (Lord willing) where I will be preaching in almost 12 local churches. Also I will go to Barinas in September because both churches invited me to teach them about the Lord’s worship. I will let you know more about my work in the next report.

During these months, I have been visiting and studying the Gospel with every contact. I have been studying with Alonzo and his wife Ana in their house. They are progressing in the study of the Bible. Also they have been visiting us in our assemblies. Also I have been studying with Jerry and his wife Edy in their house the Gospel. Until now they have accepted the truth and they understood that they are not saving in Christ. But I do not know how many time I will need to study the Bible with them until they obey the Gospel. For that reason I pray and hope these people obey the Gospel with all their heart. But I know I will need a time. Also I have new contacts; I have been studying the Bible with a man called Johnny. We have had 2 classes and he is very interesting about the sound Gospel. This man has been hearing about the Bible with different religious groups but now he is learning the truth and he told me that he wants to take more classes with me. Also I have been visiting and encouraging every contact by announcement of the newspaper to have formal classes with me, I pray and hope they have an open mind and heart. Also I have been making a plan to preach the Gospel door by door in a big zone in the city where I live. Now I am making tracts to give in the houses. When I have every tract I will start this new work in evangelism.

The Lord’s work in San Juan de los Morros:

I have mentioned you in my report for January that I was going to start to preach the Gospel in the city of San Juan. This city is to 1 hour by way from the city where I live. In this moment there is one faithful Christian. Her name is sister Ana and we have been having our assembly in a small building that we rent. In this moment we have several visitors, and I am studying the Bible with some of them. Brother Leonardo works with me in the Lord’s work in Maracay and San Juan. He is working as a preacher part-time. Also several brothers from Maracay are going to San Juan with us to be in the assembly. We are planning to go to San Juan 1 day per week and preach the Gospel house by house. Please keep us in yours prayers concerning this new work.

Gospel trip to Colombia:

From 2th May until 13th May, I was teaching the Bible and preaching the Gospel in Colombia. I took an airplane in the city of Caracas, Venezuela and I flew until Colombia Bogota. Then I took another airplane and I flew until Cali. I began my trip in the city of Cali and I was 5 days in Cali. I was teaching about the theme “Jesus and the prophesies of the Old Testament; suffering, death, burial and resurrection, The Gospel” I was teaching about this theme from Thursday to Sunday morning. I have 4 lessons about this topic. In the city of Cali there is only one sound church. The preacher here is brother Pablo Ramirez and he is married with sister Yuri. Brother Pablo and I were preaching the Gospel house by house around the City and we were visiting brethren to encourage being faithful to the Lord. The membership in this church is almost 60 brethren. I had a very good time with the brethren. We had several visitors in every assembly during my sermons of the Gospel. Let me share some photos from my trip to Cali.

My trip to Bogota:

On Monday 7th I flew to Bogotá the capital of Colombia. This city is very big and very modern. The people are very respectable. I was 1 week in this city and I began to teach the Bible from Tuesday until Sunday night. In this big city, there are several sound churches 5 or 6 (I Think). I was preaching and teaching in two churches. 1. The church in “El Rincon” and 2. The church in “20 de Julio”. The first church has a membership of almost 80 members. And the second church has a membership of almost 20 members. I was teaching the same theme that I was teaching with the church in Cali. I was with the company of brother Henry Jerez. He is one of two preachers that work with these churches. The second brother is David Jerez and he is brother of brother Henry. Brother Henry is married and his wife is called Sonia end they have one child with name Christian. Let me share one photo of brother Henry and his son. Also you can see behind of them the signboard of the church of Christ in 20 de Julio.

The next picture is in the assembly of “El Rincon”. I was preaching here by 4 days. Also I want to tell you the conversion of one young lady. Her name is Ivon and she is 14 years old. Her parents are Christians and she is a faithful student of the Bible. She has been attending the assembly by 8 months. On Saturday afternoon, I was in the mother’s Henry house (she is Christian) and the young lady was there. Then sister Sonia, the wife of our brother Henry asked to Ivon, when she was going to decide to become Christian. For our surprise she said: Today..!!! After the lesson I want to be baptized. I was hearing what she said and I asked her: Why did you take this decision, what did you understand, what is the reason? She told me: I understood by your lesson that Jesus Christ died for our sins and I want to clean my soul, I want to be pure…!!!. Can you imagine what I feel in my heart…!!!. GLORY TO THE LORD…!!!. Let me share several pictures.

Thanks to the Lord, I returned to Venezuela save and sound. In this moment I am working with new contacts. I will let you know more about my work in the next report.

About Evangelism (Mark 16:15-16):

As you know, I have an announcement offering a free course of the Bible in a local newspaper and I have been receiving several calls of people asking of our Bible course. In February I received 15 calls. In March I was visiting every one contact but only 2 have been studying the Bible with me and one of them was baptized in Christ for the remission of his sins. The name of our new brother is Jose Anibal Diaz and he was studying the Gospel of Jesus by two months with me. We were studying about the sound gospel of Jesus and he understood that he obeyed other “gospel”. Then, he wanted to obey the truth gospel and we went to the river with some brethren. We rejoice with him because he now is a saved soul for Jesus our Savior and Lord.

Also, I have been studying the Gospel with Alonzo and his wife, Fernando, Jerry and his wife Edy, Erasto and now I have been studying with new contacts Carlos and his wife Noris. I have been studying with them the Bible every week in their houses. Some of them have been having a very good attitude with the sound doctrine of Jesus. Alonzo, Fernando, Jerry and his wife Edy have accepted that have obeyed another “gospel” and this is very important and is a very good steep in our lessons. I know that I need take much time and be patient with those people but I feel very well because I am preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ “Go unto the world and preach the Gospel”. Also I have been visiting several persons in their houses to encourage them to have a Bible study with me. Many of them have called for asking the Bible course. I hope and pray those people obey the pure Gospel of Jesus. Also I want to tell you that the grand-father of our brother Leonardo was baptized in Christ for the remission of his sins. I could not take a picture but you can rejoice with the good news. He is a sick brother and sometime he could not go to the assemblies.

About my work in other local churches:

I went to the state of Portuguesa, in the city of Guanare. This city is to 5 hours from the city where I live (Maracay). In this city there is a local church where our brother Jose Chavez preaches the Gospel. I was with them in their assembly and I preached a sermon about “Jesus on the cross”. After this meeting, I went to lunch and then I went to the city of Barinas because I was going to preach a sermon with one of 3 churches in this city. In Barinas I preached the same sermon in Guanare. The church in Guanare has a membership of 10 members and the church in Barinas has a membership of 20 members. Both brethren want that I visit again because they told me that they want more lessons about Jesus and His sacrifice.

I am very thankful with you for your prayers, sincere concern, support and love in Christ. I give thanks to our Lord for the fellowship that I have with you in this common work. May God bless all of you. We love you, Luis and Susana.

Brother Ken Craig in Venezuela

Brother Ken Craig in the city of Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.

We had the visit of our brother Ken Craig from USA, Alabama. He was almost one month in Venezuela. He was in several cities of our country because he was teaching us about the plan of redention of our Lord. In every city there were a very good attendance. Let me tell you that this lessons are so exelent. You can have a very clear picture of the plan of redention of our GOD with these lessons. Of course, every lesson very Scriptural. Loor to the Lord for His GOSPEL...!!!

Thanks God, we had a very good time with brother Jose Tobias from Mexico, Reynosa. He was 5 days beteween us. He did a very good job teaching us of the Bible. Is wonderful to know that there are many brethren around the world that keep the sound doctrine.

In February I received 15 calls. Now I am visiting each person in their houses giving them the Bible course. Some of them have been studying receiving only the Bible course and others have been taking time to hear about the sound doctrine. One of them has been studying the Bible with me for 3 weeks. His name is Alonzo. He is member of a protestant church. Until now he has been understanding and accepting the pure Gospel of Christ. The past week he told me: “I am not saved” Why? Because he has not obeyed the pure Gospel and died in Christ (Rom 6). We are studying the Bible every Friday in his house. I hope and pray this good man obey soon the pure Gospel of Christ. Also, I told you in my last report about Erasto Ibarra, this man has been studying the Bible with me for two months. Until now he is still taking class with me and we are studying in this moment about the “Plan of salvation from God in Christ”. I hope and pray this man obey the Sound Doctrine and become a simple Christian. Also, I told you about a man with name Jerry. Well, he has been studying the Bible with me and in this moment I am teaching him about “When I died in Christ” because according to the Bible, the sinner need to die in/with Christ to become free of his sins. I hope and pray this man obey the pure Gospel. I know I need take many time and be patient with those people but I feel very well because I am preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ “Go unto the world and preach the Gospel”.

Also, I have been teaching about modesty (I Tim 2:9-10) I want to tell you something, in this country there is a big problem with this topic of the Bible. In many local churches you can see this problem. Also, is very sad when some “sound preachers” say: “I think is not necessary to teach about this topic” Can you believed? Yes..!!! This is a real situation in several local churches with several “sound” preachers. However I read in the Bible: “Preach the word…” (2 Tim 4:2) What should I do? Also we had our first Gospel meeting with brother Jose Tobias from Mexico, Reynosa.

Also we had a very good time with the brother ken Craig form Alabama, USA, because he came from USA to teach us about “The scheme of redemption” He did a very good and clear presentation of the ONE Gospel of Jesus by Power Point. He was in several cities but I saw him in two cities (Valencia and Caracas).

Good news in Maracay.

This man is Justo (Justino). He is 26 years old and He was baptized for the remissions of his sins acording to Acts 2:38. Now our brother Justo is a saved soul thanks to the Lord. I took this picture after the baptism. We went to a river in the North of my city. It is called "Los Capuchinos". Brother Leonardo was with me in this good moment.

Two workers working together

I think you know these brothers, they are Jose Barros (Left) and Carmelo Fricano (Rigth). They are working in Puerto Ordaz. Jose si 26 years old and Carmelo 27 years old. They are not married. we have a very example of dedication from them. The glory to the Lord..!!!

I was in Puerto Ordaz where my brother Jose Barros is preaching the Gospel. I was teaching the Bible by 4 days and I gave 5 lessons. The title of my lessons were "...People meet Jesus...". We had one visitor. You can see in both pictures the brethren in Puerto Ordaz.

Good news from Puerto Ordaz

My brother Jose Barros who preachs in Puerto Ordaz, in the east of Venezuela, told me that the last Sunday 12, 6 persons were baptized in Christ for the remissions of their sins according to Acts 2:38. 5 womens and 1 man. Now there are 11 christians in this big city and 6 new saved souls. Glory to the Lord for His Love and Mercy to the siners.....!!!!
